GUIDELINES
- A user account shall be created by a presenting author on the Abstract Submission System of this website. The login name is the author's email address and the default password is the same email address. Authors are encouraged to change their password as soon as possible.
- All late breaking abstracts must be submitted electronically on-line via this website by July 15th, 2009.
- Oral presentations will be selected from submitted abstracts, based on the quality of the scientific content. Abstracts submitted by mail or fax will not be processed or considered for review by the Scientific Program Committee.
- All abstracts must be submitted by the presenting authors. Correspondence will be made with the presenting authors. A presenting author does not have to be the first named author listed on an abstract.
- Only 1 abstract per presenting author is recommended.
- Please do not submit multiple copies of the same abstract.
- All abstracts must be written in English. The use of graphics, tables or photographs should be used when necessary to substantiate results and should be pasted into the abstract template form. Ensure that they are within the printable area of the page. The conversion of your text file to a PDF file can result in omission of images if they are not within the printable area of the page.
- The title of an abstract is limited to 90 characters in upper and lower case. The body should be no longer than one B5 page, according to the provided abstract template. Text beyond these limits will be truncated.
- All abbreviations must be defined at the first time they appear before being used as an abbreviation in the text.
It is the sole responsibility of the presenting authors to ensure accuracy of content, spelling and presentation, as their abstracts will be published exactly as submitted.
- If you experience any difficulties during the submission process, please contact the Administrative Assistant at abstract@hupo2009.org.
